Post: Team Leader, Learning & Access Development Team
Salary: £28,956 - £31,779 pa inc London Weighting
Would you like to play a significant role in developing the learning and
access potential of museums, archives and libraries in London?
The London Archives Regional Council, London Libraries Development Agency
and London Museums Agency are working in partnership, as LMAL, to encourage
collaboration between the capital's museums, archives and libraries.
The LMAL partnership is currently developing and delivering cross-domain
strategies and services for London, while working to establish a strategic
regional agency for the sector by 2004. The creation of a cross-domain
Learning & Access Development Team for London is a key step in this process.
The Team will work with the staff of LARC, LLDA and LMA to encourage and
explore new approaches to single- and cross-domain working. Its aim is to
ensure that museums, archives and libraries, separately and together, are
established as a significant part of the learning landscape of London with
and for users, policy makers, strategists and infrastructures relevant to
learning.
We are seeking a dynamic individual to establish and lead the Team. You will
have considerable experience of learning and access in at least one of the
domains, and will relish the opportunity to expand your knowledge, to
develop new ways of working and to forge new partnerships within and outside
the sector.
Application forms and further details are available from Jenny Warner,
