Hi all -
I have been working with a colleague on a sampling problem where the main
interest is in estimating the proportion of units with a particular
characteristic. There is very little existing information on the
populations under study, but as it is expected that the characteristic is
going to be 'rare' (<10%) we have been looking at using an inverse sampling
scheme. There is also a naturally suggested stratified structure to it all
but I haven't been able to find much literature on applying inverse
sampling to stratified populations.
Does anyone have any suggestions on where to look for some information on
inverse sampling as applied to stratified pops?
TIA,
Kylie.
