We are inviting applications from candidates with outstanding academic
records in statistics or epidemiology for an MRC studentship in two of
the following research projects:
1. The association between weather, climate change, and health:
empirical investigation using time series data

4. Reproductive epidemiology: exploring epidemiological and statistical

5. Child health and development: an international comparison of child

Each studentship will be for a period of three years starting in
October 2002, and will lead to a PhD. UK residents are eligible for
maintenance support in addition to fees, EU nationals who are not
resident in the UK may receive awards which cover tuition fees only.
