The text for the advert is as below:
A research assistant/associate is required to work within the Division
of Epidemiology, part of the Department of Social Medicine. The post
is available immediately for three years to work on a portfolio of
projects within a programme entitled - An individual and population
life course approach to the determinants of health - run by Professor
George Davey Smith in collaboration with Professor John Lynch,
University of Michican. You should have a good first degree, with a
relevant postgraduate qualification preferable. Experience in
analysing and publishing studies in the field of epidemiology would be
a distinct advantage. Applicants with backgrounds in social
epidemiology, biomedical epidemiology or medical statistics will all be
considered. The ability to work unsupervised, as well as in
collaboration with other researchers is essential.
Grade : Grade 1A
Salary : #17,626 - #26,491 dependent on qualifications and experience
