We have been experiencing similar problems, mainly with Lloyds TSB.
Annoyingly, two different local branches want two different things at the
moment! One branch is happy with "TWIMC". The other insists on the
student's addresses, both Reading and international, being included. (Are
they going to send junk mail to Kenya as well then?) One local branch of
Barclays, OTOH, is happy to accept a letter without the student's address,
but insists on the letter being addressed to Barclays Bank.
Does anyone know why all this is occurring? When I asked Lloyds TSB they
said "there is increasing fraud", but wouldn't elaborate, at least not in a
way that explained to me why we are asked for this extra work at the worst
time of year ...
