Hi, I have just got back from holidays and have got reviewing our
Dignity at Work and Study on my long 'todolist'. So would too welcome
this debate continuing. We have a policy - created three years ago,
lots of help from Syd Kent and guidance from the policy St Andrews had
at the time. We have worked with 9 volunteer advisors, with me as the
co-ordinator - I would be very happy to talk through the pros and cons
if any one wants to know how it has been for us. The reason for review
is partly, it is three years down the line, we need to increase the
number of advisors and need to organise training for existing and new -
likewise I sense things have moved up a gear and we need to remind
senior managers of their responsiblities and how to deal with
harassment issues, etc. Also our EOG will be receiving annual reports
on harassment issues (obviously within the limits of confidentiality)
and this will also raise the profile of the policy.
Policy can be found via www.exeter.ac.uk/eo/dignity.htm
best wishes
Sylvia
