Hi all
I have been asked to circulate this message:
I would be grateful if you could forward this message to your list:
Mapping Survey of Non-Technical Research on the Social Value and Benefits of
Good Architectural Design
The Scottish Executive has commissioned the Sutherland School at Robert
Gordon University to undertake a review of research on the social value and
benefits of good architectural design. The principal aim of this project is
to establish the extent and quality of research carried out since 1997 (both
completed and ongoing) available to the Scottish Executive to inform its
future policy priorities in architecture.
The research team (Tony Craig, Anna Conniff and Martin Edge) would
appreciate information about research that:
* Is primarily focused on aspects of quality in the built environment.
* Seeks to investigate the relationship between people and the process or
product of architectural design.
* Uses measurable criteria to evaluate architecture and built environments.
If you have conducted research that you feel falls under this remit, or are
aware of any other relevant projects, then we would very much like to hear
about it. Please complete the survey online at:
http://www.rgusurvey.org.uk/Architecture
If you could forward this email to anyone else you feel might be aware of
relevant research, we would be most grateful.
If you would like to know more about this review, then please contact the
project manager, Dr. Martin Edge on 01224 263537, or email [log in to unmask]
Many thanks for your help
