Hi,
has anyone else noticed that Safeway are using some sort of blue lighting in
toilets and especially accessible toilets - the reason I was given was that
the colour of the light made it more difficult for drug users to find their
veins!! but I would have thought that many people with visual impairments
would find it a very hostile environment.
I would suggest guidance from the Blind Society or a body with experience of
the effects of poor light quality - but since the existing guidance in terms
of size, fittings, colours, addition of baby changers etc. is ignored I
don't know that it's worth bothering!!
