Alert from Celia Brown, UN Main Representative, Support Coalition

The US is blocking the Rights Convention. It might be helpful to send
emails about blocking the convention to the Permanent Representative at UN,

Here's what I sent:
US impeding Human Rights in an election year
I returned to California from five days at the UN Ad Hoc meeting on a
Convention for the Human Rights of People with Disabilities to find email
alerts that the US is impeding the strong momentum for ensuring that people
with disabilities. This is certainly contrary to our national values of
inclusion and diversity. Please exert what influence you may have on
behalf of people who would like equal enjoyment of human rights and be
assured of dignity, autonomy, equality and social solidarity.
