Is seeking an Information, Advice and Research Officer
This new non-government organisation is seeking an Information, Advice and
Research Officer as part of its mission to promote the rights of immigrants
through information, advocacy and awareness. ICI seeks to become a focal
point, providing information and advice for and to immigrants whilst
building up a profile of their circumstances and needs.
The Information, Advice and Research Officer will provide advice and
information to immigrants and immigrant groups relating to immigration and
nationality law and visa regulations; document and disseminate such
information in accessible formats; liase with other ngo's and statutory
organisations; undertake research projects; and contribute to the advocacy
work of ICI.
The successful applicant will have an undergraduate degree in a relevant
discipline; a postgraduate degree in human rights, equality studies, social
sciences or law is an advantage. Experience in the area of immigration law
and policy in Ireland and/or the EU and/or other States required.
Exceptional communication and writing skills essential; fluency in other
languages an advantage.
Salary: Negotiable
