It is just possible that there might be something relevant in the
archive of SCOTLAND AFRICA 97, which is held in the Special Collections
Department of Edinburgh University Library

There is a printed finding-list, but I don't think that it is available
online.
SCOTLAND AFRICA 97 was a year-long celebration of connections between
Scotland and Africa (in wide sense), organised by the Centre of African
Studies at the University of Edinburgh.
