Good Morning,
Perhaps we should compile a dataset of the names that have already been
collated, and then add names of people who are still alive? If we make
this a yearly drive, what BASA will quickly end up with is a compilation
of Names of Notable Black and Asian People in the UK - both past and
present. What's more, collated information on where these people lived,
what they did and places of interest. This, in turn, would lend itself to
the further development of Heritage walks and tours and no doubt - take
this leap with me - a nation-wide Heritage trail for students, residents
and tourists.

I think the list is quite comprehensive. I'm afraid all the people I knew
of, are still alive, though very old and wouldn't have qualified for this.
This is why I hesitated in putting names forward. The idea of organisations
also being considered is excellent, look forward to hearing what the
response is on this.
Kind regards
Parminder
