Call for papers and contributions
Fourth Ruskin Public History Conference - Personal and
Public Histories
Saturday April 26th 2003
Researching individual lives? Developing ways of approaching group
histories? Exploring different ways of approaching family histories? Coming
to grips with ideas of the self and subjectivity in the writing of history?
We warmly welcome short proposals (up to 250 words) for workshop papers,
presentations or practical sessions on the above broad theme for this year's
conference.
The Public History conferences provide an excellent opportunity for those
working in schools, museums, local groups, higher education, or with friends
and family, to meet together to exchange ideas and approaches.
Please send proposals to - or contact us for further discussion - by
December 31st 2002. Dr Hilda Kean: [log in to unmask] or 01865 517831
