MARC FITCH FUND
The post of EXECUTIVE SECRETARY of the Marc Fitch Fund will shortly become
vacant. The Fund is a registered charitable body concerned with publication
and research in archaeology, architectural history, archives, local
history, topography and genealogy, and makes grants, loans or guarantees
for publication.
The post will be half time, though a short introductory period of full-time
employment will be expected. Candidates should be prepared to work from
home and have an informed interest in at least one of the principal subject
areas, together with some familiarity with publishing and printing, and
with accounting procedures. An ability to work electronically is also
essential. The salary will be in the range for university lecturers (Grade
B), pro-rata, depending on experience and qualifications.
