FREE TO A GOOD HOME!!
We are looking for a good home for volumes containing tables of information
abstracted from the census and published from 1821-1971. These volumes
cover England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland and consist of general volumes
covering each country and some volumes covering individual counties of
England.
The subjects covered in these tables are industry, fertility, languages
spoken, ecclesiastical areas, mortality, place names, agriculture, religion,
housing, education, birth place and population.
The 1821 and 1831 abstracts cover Great Britain.
Most of the volumes are in good condition.
If anyone is interested in any of these volumes please contact Clare Mays in
the Department of Work and Pensions library on 020 7962 8878.
