The Church of England Record Centre (CERC) provides records management and
archive services to the National Church Institutions and is based at
Bermondsey. As part of a housekeeping exercise in preparation for
forthcoming improvements to the premises the CERC wishes to audit its
existing Disaster Plan written in 2001 using the services of an outside
consultant. We wish in particular to test the assumptions of the current
plan and to conduct a practical exercise involving all the staff to see if
the plan has any serious omissions. Our budget for such a consultancy is c.
£750.
Have colleagues any experience of using consultants in this field and any
recommendations about who might be able to undertake such a consultancy?
