The Seven Ages of Man, Access to Archives in the West Midlands
PROJECT ARCHIVIST
Scale SO1 - £19,770 to £21,078 pro rata
(Salary dependent upon qualifications and experience)
Temporary for 6 months, fixed term contract(Pay award pending)
This A2A retroconversion project, based at the Shropshire Records &
Research Centre, located in the historic town of Shrewsbury, will convert
30,000 pages of archive catalogues from 15 archive repositories across the
West Midlands. This post will supervise two project assistants, one full
and one part time, and work closely with the Project Manager. Liasing with
the project partners is an important part of the work.
You must hold a professional qualification in archive administration and
have a good knowledge of ISAD(G). Experience of other retroconversion
projects, or of the A2A programme would be an advantage. Newly qualified
