hello
As you know, we are running training sessions over two days in September (25th
& 26th in Gateshead; see http://www.nemlac.co.uk/training.php3?14 ) looking at
working with older learners. The days will cover outreach, oral history and
reminscence techniques, as well as ways of engaging 'harder to reach' older
learners, with case studies from across the library, museum & archive
professions in the UK.
Well, now i've sold the idea to you, we are putting together the delegates'
packs & wondering whether you can suggest useful case studies to include. We
have got all the main website addresses (Age Concern, NIACE, WEA, etc) and we
are going through the professional journals - but perhaps you have a report
that would be of interest to participants.
Please send things to [log in to unmask]
thanks - by the way, it's a bargain at £30 (per day) & why not take the
opportunity to visit Baltic (if lifts are fixed)
