INFORMATION AUDIT OFFICER

Salary dependent upon qualifications and experience
Shropshire County Council is looking for an enthusiastic and highly
motivated person to carry out an Information Audit within the Community and
Environment Directorate, as part of the preparation for Freedom of
Information and E-government. The post holder will be based in the
Information Development Unit and will also work closely with the Records
Manager and Heads of Service to ensure that a comprehensive analysis of
information resources is compiled. The audit will form the basis from which
a number of policy decisions will be made.
Applicants should have a higher education qualification. An understanding
of information systems and excellent communication skills are essential .
