Try going to the A2A standard search page, put Crichton in the Keyword (or
Phrase) box and restrict the search to repositories in the North East and
you will find refs to archives including papers re the company as clients of
a firm of solicitors (which no doubt include their letterhead in a far more
archival context than Carl's). Have not tried Phoenix Glassworks though.

I hope you have other exs of this letterhead - otherwise, it seems a bit
rash despite the rather low information content - I've just used a
letterhead from the Phoenix Glassworks, Bristol as a very telling
illustration!

Dear me, you lot are amateurs compared with Oxfordshire Record Office.
My
favourite is a torn scrap of paper which is a letterhead proclaiming:
"Crichton's Oil Company Ltd, Newcastle-on-Tyne, 3 Mosley Street.
January
1894".
