I hope you have other exs of this letterhead - otherwise, it seems a bit
rash despite the rather low information content - I've just used a
letterhead from the Phoenix Glassworks, Bristol as a very telling
illustration!

Dear me, you lot are amateurs compared with Oxfordshire Record Office.
My
favourite is a torn scrap of paper which is a letterhead proclaiming:
"Crichton's Oil Company Ltd, Newcastle-on-Tyne, 3 Mosley Street.
January
1894". This is catalogued as "Description: scrap of paper. Date: early
twentieth century." We think quantum flux may be involved here.
Something
more emotional was involved in the removal of the card from the
catalogue
and the paper from the collection.
