Please could colleagues bring the following to the attention of any researchers who might be planning to visit us this summer.
To facilitate essential building work in the Lionel Robbins Building, the British Library of Political and Economic Science's rare book and archive collections will be moving temporarily this summer to the Caroline Skeel Library in Hampstead, North London. All researchers planning a visit during this period are strongly advised to contact us in advance.
The main move from the Lionel Robbins Building will begin on 17 June 2002, although the rare book collections will be unavailable from 13 June. All archive and rare book collections will be available for viewing in the reading room at the Caroline Skeet Library from 24 June. The move back to the Lionel Robbins Building is provisionally scheduled for mid-August. The full move schedule, plus contact details and details of opening hours, are available on our website at http://www.lse.ac.uk/library/archive/Default.htm
