REGIONAL ARCHIVE DEVELOPMENT OFFICER, EAST OF ENGLAND
Salary Range £19,770-24,072 (scp 29-36) pa
National pay award pending/subject to review)
The East of England Regional Archive Council (EERAC), working in close
partnership with the Museums Service East of England (MUSE), is looking for
a dynamic and innovative person to become the first holder of this key new
post in the East of England. You will help discover the needs of and
develop archive services, work closely with MUSE to develop an
understanding of archive holdings in museums, assist in the establishment
and operation of the new Single Regional Agency (EEMLAC) and provide an
authoritative voice for archives in the region.
The postholder will be based at the MUSE office, in Bury St Edmunds, and
will report on a day-to-day basis to the Director of MUSE. He/she will
also be accountable to and guided by the East of England Regional Archive
Council (EERAC).
