Dear All,
We are still debating whether it is better to record on to analogue tape or
digital minidisk, and have been noting previous discussion on this.
We have, however, been having a lot of bother with our Marantz tape recorder
in the middle of interviews, which is leaning us more to digital.
I have been recommended the Sony MZ R700, apparently also recommended by
Bournemouth University, who have been running an oral history recording and
training programme for some 10 years. This model is now discontinued, and
seemingly replaced by the Sony MZ-N707

Has anyone else experience of such machines they can share, if not specific
machines then features that we should be looking for?
Thanks
