Dear Colleagues
As the majority of our retroconspective conversion of the card catalogue of
printed books is complete, we now have a set of index card cabinets surplus
to requirements - these hold 6"x 4" (152 x 102 mm) index cards. We have one
cabinet available now, and two later in the Summer.
Each cabinet is in Japanese oak with oak veneered plywood back, hardboard &
plywood interiors.
Each has 49 horizontal drawers (arranged 7 high & 7 wide), fitted with
gravity action round rods, concealed safety catches, adjustable follower
blocks, and with combined label holders/pulls in aluminium.
Each is supported by a metal leg stand (perimeter frame, 4 square legs with
"H" frame set up 6" high from floor).
Overall dimensions: 4' 3 3/4" x 1' 17" x 4' 7 3/4" (approx.1325mm wide by
736.6mm deep by 1422.2mm high).
The cabinets were purchased in 1987 and are in good condition (very slight
wear and tear).
Offers invited - please contact Christina Mackwell

With best wishes
