DIGITAL IMAGING ASSISTANT
Westminster City Council Education Department -TEN GENERATIONS PROJECT
12 Months Fixed-term appointment
Salary in range £16,410 to £17,988 pa.
Ten Generations, a New Opportunities Fund 'nof-digi' project, aims to create
a lifelong learning resource about the lives of Londoners from 1700 to the
present day. You will organise and carry out scanning of historical items
in the archive collections and enter associated data onto the database, in
preparation for publication of the Ten Generations educational website.
Essential skills/experience:
* Must be highly IT literate, with experience of digital imaging
equipment and software packages.
* Ability to work in an organised and methodical way to tight
deadlines.
* Previous experience of work in an archive, library or museum
environment would be an advantage.
* Excellent communication skills.
