Just to let you all know that the Archives in Education Group AGM will be on
Friday 12th April 2002 at the Historical Manuscripts Commission, Chancery Lane,
London.
The meeting will start at 10 with coffee and the business meeting at 10.30.
This will include reports from chair and secretary and a review of our aims and
objectives for the year as well as a discussion of our proposed change of name
and emphasis of remit.
Lunch will be from 12.30-2. This is not provided but there are several sandwich
bars nearby or you are welcome to bring your own packed lunch.
In the afternoon Ben Walsh will speak about educational resources online. Ben
is head of history at a large comprehensive school and has written several
textbooks and worked on the British Library CD-ROMs and the PRO Learning Curve
website.
We expect to finish about 4 o'clock to 4.30.
Papers will be sent out to AEG members within the next few days, however,
interested parties and student members are also very welcome.
We hope many of you will be able to join us.
