I've been asked to put up an ad and act as a go-between for a Bath-based
engineering company looking for some help with their archives.
Essentially it is a small listing job. I would estimate it at one month's
work for 1 FTE - though this is only an estimate - and the archivist
would be properly remunerated. The archives include technical material
but no engineering expertise is required and advice would be on hand.
The company have a responsible approach to their history and do want to
use a qualified archivist.
This might suit a retired archivist or one working part-time who wanted a
bit of extra money. There would be considerable flexibility as regards
working hours.
If anyone might be interested - however tentatively - please get in touch
with me.
