Dear All,
The London School of Economics has recently leased (parts of) a new building and I have been told I can use a basement room for non-current document storage (Yippee).
The room contains a small block of rolling racking which is in dire need of a service and/or repairs. Our Estates Division do not know of who can service this racking and so I said I would speak to my lovely Archives-NRA friends for advice.
The racking is typical manual mobile shelving. It looks not older than about 20 years old and bears no company name. I know nothing about repairing shelving and don't even know if there are specialist companies or whether manufacturers do repairs as well.
If anyone knows of a company they can recommend, I'd be very grateful.
Thanks for all your help.
Regards
Matt Stephenson
