Firstly, apologies to the list for sending a query which is not about statistics. However, I expect some people on the list will have encountered this problem before and managed to solve it. It seemed easier for me to post a query here first rather than try to find a more appropriate list (yes, I know I'm just lazy).
I have a WORD document which switches back and forth from portrait to landscape. The sections are separated by means of Section markers inserted using Insert/Break. The problem is that when I go from portrait to landscape WORD always wants to put the first page of the landscape section on an odd-numbered page, so whatever type of Section Break I insert, WORD changes it to "Section Break (odd page)". If the previous page was odd numbered then the next (even) page number is simply omitted. It seems that WORD is convinced this document is going to be printed double-sided, but of course it is not and I naturally want the page numbering to be contiguous.
I've tried several things to get round this, and hunted through all the option pages and help files to see if I can find a way to overcome it, without success.
Apologies once again,
Dennis Chanter
