assessment techniques. The main work involved will be in the development
and validation of the statistical methods
via both simulation studies and a large birth cohort dataset. Training will
be provided in nutritional epidemiological techniques, including dietary
and nutrients
assessment methods, study design, data presentation, and the use of
statistical computer packages such as Splus, SAS and BUGS.
These skills will be readily transferable to other work environments.
