FACULTY POSITIONS:
TITLE: NSERC UFA position(s)
The Statistics Department at the University of British Columbia is seeking
to nominate a female or aboriginal candidate for a NSERC University
Faculty Award in the Fall2002 competition. Nominees will have demonstrated
potential for excellence in teaching and outstanding research in
areas consistent with the Department's Academic and Hiring Plans
(http://www.stat.ubc.ca). Successful nominees would assume tenure-track
faculty positions at ranks commensurate with their qualifications, beginning
July1,2003, with a reduced teaching load for the duration of the award.

Engineering Research Council to encourage Canadian universities to
