A leader in the field of clinical trials, the Unit conducts national and international randomised clinical trials in a variety of clinical fields (in particular cancer, women and child health, primary care) and has an associated research portfolio.
This post is available for a fixed-term for 18 months in the first instance. You will take a major role in leading the management and strategic direction of the NYCTRU. You will be expected to undertake research within the sphere of the Unit's strategy and promote its academic profile.
You should have highly developed leadership skills, be an excellent communicator and a skilful team player. A graduate, you will need to have experience and understanding of the conduct of clinical trials. With several years' experience of working at a senior level, a demonstrated track record in undertaking research is essential. A higher degree is desirable.
Salary: Academic-related £27,545 - £35,249 p.a.
