We have the following vacancy available. It would suit a recent graduate or
some-one wishing to cross train into Account Management:
Our client is an innovative, growing and profitable company
with a history of delivering technology and services to thousands of
satisfied customers. Clients range from academic and research
institutions to investment banks and pharmaceutical companies; to
anyone, in short, who expects more value from their data through more
accurate data analysis and predictive modelling, enhanced visualisation,
and advanced manipulation.
They are now seeking a bright, enthusiastic, statistician (possibly recent
graduate or postgraduate with relevant work and/ or software experience)
to train as a Sales Executive for our core product, S-PLUS.
Your role will be to extend market share for S-PLUS across all vertical
sectors - primarily finance, life sciences and academia - and to foster
the growth of the S-PLUS community. As such, you will be responsible
for leading sales campaigns to new and existing users, as well as
looking after all aspects of the sales cycle, from initial prospecting
to offer and completion.
You will be given external sales training and ongoing internal training
in products and markets.
