I'm a bit rusty on my nonparametric tests, so:
I have a dataset with two groups of continuous data, Group 1 (N=16) and Group 2 (N=17). The data is not normally distributed (in the sample or the population). I want to know if the Groups differ wrt the dependent variable ("PF"). As I remember my uni stats, a Wilcoxon requires matched pairs (to calulate difference scores), so my SAS program:
(PROC NPAR1WAY DATA=WWC.COMBINED WILCOXON;
CLASS GROUP;
VAR PF;
RUN;)
is probably no good.
What is the appropriate test here?
