MANAGER STATISTICAL PROGRAMMING
MUNICH, GERMANY
Our client is part of an international health care group, with a significant
presence in anti-rejection/ immunosuppression and dermatological
preparations.
THE POSITION:
This is an excellent career opportunity to join the company at a significant

Based at the European HQ, the core responsibilities of this position will
be:
· To develop and maintain programming standards and standard
programmes for the analysis and reporting of local and pan European phase
II-IV clinical trials.
· To manage and supervise a group of 2 statistical programmers plus a
possible number of contract statistical programmers.
· To ensure that the statistical programming performed is done
according to good clinical practice standards.
· To provide direction, in collaboration with the Senior Manager and
Director, on the long-term development of the programming group.
· Full responsibility for the set up and maintenance of data sets in
SAS used for analyses. Develop and adhere to locally or globally agreed
standard structures.
· Full responsibility for the validation of programs and QC of their
output according to ICH requirements and internal procedures.
· Generate, implement and maintain SOPs and guidelines to be used in
the area of statistical programming.
· Liase with IT department to ensure the appropriate functioning of
the SAS programming environment for the DO department.
THE CANDIDATE
· University Degree in Statistics / Mathematics / Biostatistics or
related discipline.
· A minimum of four years experience in the Biostatistics group of a
CRO or the pharmaceutical industry with active involvement in the
statistical planning of several clinical trials and in the generation of
study end reports is essential.
· Very good SAS programming skills or other statistical Software would
be preferable.
· Good written and spoken English. (It is not essential to know
German).
