Bernoulli bandits and clinical trials
Prof. Peter Jones
Keele University
The Bernoulli two-armed bandit problem is described. A Bayesian
approach is adopted and modifications to the problem which study
objectives other than maximising expected return are considered.
Some simple sub-optimal designs are suggested and the effects of
early stopping are evaluated. Applications to the design of response
adaptive designs for clinical trials are considered.
All are welcome.
This talk will be preceded by a short AGM.

Thanks
