The Institute is a world-leading centre for research on hearing and
hearing disorders with a broad portfolio of programmes ranging from
studies of the delivery of auditory health care to studies in auditory
neuroscience using techniques of neurophysiology, cognitive psychology,
and functional neuro-imaging.
We are seeking to recruit someone with post-graduate experience in
mathematics, statistics, and data-management initially to support
multi-centre health-services research on cochlear implantation. In due
course, opportunities will arise for involvement in other project areas.
A senior appointee would, additionally, coordinate the provision of
statistical support within the Institute as a whole.
The post is available at either of two levels. All applicants should
possess a higher degree in a relevant subject, or a combination of
degrees including statistics. Candidates for appointment at the
senior level should, additionally, have five or more years experience
of collaboration and methodological support evidenced by inclusion in
the authorship of peer-reviewed scientific papers.
