detecting heterogeneity of variance
i'd be grateful if anyone can provide good references on using the
GINI statistic for this purpose?
anything on related techniques, such as L-moments (Hosking and
Wallis) or probability weighted moments (Greenwood et al) would also
be very useful.
so would comparisons with standard methods such as the Levene test
