Evaluating New Methods for Edit and Imputation
We discuss the research needs for new edit and imputation methods, including
methods that are faster, more efficient, and more flexible. We present a
methodology for comparing methods so that informed choices can be made on
the most appropriate methods to be used in particular situations. We
describe a large ongoing European research project (EUREDIT) for developing
and evaluating new methods against the backdrop of existing methods,
describe the new methods being evaluated, and present emerging findings.
