Dear all,
I have been learning through your emails, not only
because I have limited experience in statistics but
also because I know I will face statistics problem in
my studies soon, and here I am I need your kind help
please.
In my studies, Simply, I want to know the product
position from both the consumers’ and marketing
managers point of views.
I used a scale (from the literature) to ask the
marketing managers to fill a questionnaire for me.
Now, I want to take one of questions included in the
marketing manager’s questionnaire, this question is
mainly about product position, and simplify it to used
it to ask the consumers about their opinions regarding
the product position
1- Regarding the consumer questionnaire, which is
derived mainly from the marketing managers’
questionnaire, can I call what I am doing “Developing
a scale”? or just modifying it?
2- Is there any “best way” to do what I am doing?
3- What is the best way to compare the two opinions I
will get? Knowing that for each product there is only
one marketing manager, but at the same time many
consumers.
4- In all cases, I will be happy if you could provide
me with books/references in that matter.
Your help is highly appreciated
Thank you
