Engineering Optimisation (A case study in ideas for making
experimental methods more accessible to the engineering community)"
Abstract:
"Through a range of case studies based in industry over the last seven
years this seminar will present the central role that statistical
methods such as Experimental Design have in engineering systems
optimisation. The fear of statistical methods displayed by many
engineers will be discussed and ideas for bridging that gap will be
considered."
