"Covariate adjustment in logistic regression"
Professor Mike Kenward
London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine
There has been some debate about "surprising results" associated with
covariate adjustment in logistic regression (e.g. Robinson and Jewell,
Int. Stat. Rev, 1991), in particular with respect to its effect on
precision and power. In this talk the relationship between these
"results" and marginalisation is explored and it is suggested that it is
rather linear and log-linear regression that exhibit "exceptional"
behaviour.
All welcome!!
