Higher Scientific Officer (Band 4): Statistician (permanent post)
We are seeking to recruit an experienced researcher to support a research
programme on measuring health, inequalities in health and determinants of
health in Scotland. This will involve the analysis and management of
secondary data and preparing research for publication, and will require
experience of data analysis and good communication skills. Candidates
should have a higher degree in Statistics or a subject with a high
statistical content. This post is permanent and is available immediately,
falling within Band 4 of the MRC pay and grading scheme with a salary range
from £20,320 to £30,488 per annum. Starting salary in the range £20,320 to
