An opportunity has arisen to work on a short-tem contract for our client, a
large multi-national Pharmaceutical Company based in London. We are looking
for an experienced statistician who will be responsible for providing
statistical advice, analysis and reporting for allocated clinical trials
over a wide range of therapeutic areas.
The successful candidate for this challenging and stimulating role will be
responsible for :
Ensuring clinical trial design and data collection documents are
statistically valid and credible.
Preparing clinical trials analysis plans and Statistical Analysis sections
for protocols across a wide range of therapeutic areas.
Analysing and reporting, using the most appropriate statistical methods,
clinical trial data to produce outputs appropriate for exploitation.
Interpreting and presenting clinical trial results to ensure statistically
valid conclusions that will provide maximum benefit to the business.
Ideally you will have a Bachelors or preferably Masters degree level in
applied statistics or equivalent. In addition, you will have an excellent
understanding of current statistical methodology and at least one major
statistical software package. You must be able to work as part of a busy
team and adhere to appropriate SOPs/Guidelines/ISOPs and ICH guidelines as
well as have the ability to communicate statistical issues and their impact
to non-statisticians.
