Data Analyst
MRC Human Nutrition Research (HNR) is dedicated to advancing knowledge of
the links between human nutrition and health by conducting laboratory and
community based nutritional research with a wide range of collaborators and
funding partners.
A Data Analyst is required to carry out all data preparation and statistical
analyses associated with the Food Standard Agency (FSA) funded project on
the impact of fruit and vegetables on bone health.
Applicants will require a degree or equivalent in statistics or related
subjects
and at least 2 years experience in modelling health related data. Experience in
using statistical package such as SAS or Splus would be an advantage.
The appointment is for 2 years funded by the FSA. The starting salary is likely
to be in the region of £17,500 to £19,000 per annum (MRC Band 5) depending
on qualifications and experience.
