STATISTICIAN / DATA ANALYST / DATA MANAGER - Job Ref 134
This new post provides an exciting opportunity to be involved within a
small research team on a new Eastern European Cohort Study. Key
responsibilities will include: analysis of a large dataset on survival
and family clustering of mortality risk in a sample of Russian
population; and organisation and analysis of large multi-centre study
of chronic diseases and their determinants in three eastern European
countries.
Applicants must have: an MSc in medical statistics, demography,
epidemiology or a related subject; experience with cleaning,
organising and analysing large datasets; an interest in statistical
methods; excellent organisational and interpersonal skills; self
motivation; the capacity to work independently as well as in a team;
flexibility and the ability to work and respond to deadlines; and
proven ability to write research papers. Salary: £20,399-29,473 pa
inclusive (RA1A scale).
