Dear All
I have a short question.
Let X be a symmetric continuous random variable.
Can one say that X may be always presented as X
= Z1-Z2, where Z1 and Z2 are iid random
variables? I suspect that some other conditions
apart from symmetry are required.
I will be grateful for any comments and/or
references.
Thanks
Igor
