RESEARCH FELLOW/ LECTURER IN CANCER EPIDEMIOLOGY - JP2
The Research Fellow/Lecturer in Cancer Epidemiology post has been established under a collaborative agreement between the School, the Institute of Cancer Research (ICR) and Cancer Research UK. The post is until 30 September 2004 in the first instance to work under the supervision of Professor Julian Peto (also Head of the Section of Epidemiology at ICR in Sutton, Surrey) in the Cancer and Public Health Unit on the development, conduct, analysis and publication of various research projects in cancer epidemiology and cancer genetics. The post holder will have previous research experience including the ability to develop research proposals and secure funding.
The post holder will be expected to have a relevant postgraduate qualification (epidemiology, statistics, genetics or biochemistry) with experience in statistical computing. An interest in molecular or genetic epidemiology would be an advantage. Starting salary will be in the range of £20,253 to £28,083 per annum inclusive.
