Fascinating stuff this.
I've been asking myself the same question ever since "my" vision of MLE/VLE
became confused by learndirect.
Interesting that the Principal leading investigations into MLE for LSC/FEFC
has not yet committed himself to a VLE/MLE.
I guess we're all looking for a vision of VLE in FE and all have different
variations on a theme.
I'm still developing a "vision" which still needs to be understood and
agreed by senior college managers which will probably mean changing the way
we organise teaching, learning and the college as a whole.
A shared understood college vision is what is of primary importance. In
order to get there we may or may not need something called a VLE.
As long as at the end of the day students realise some benefits (and we
manage to improve retention and achievement.
I know one thing that won't work Xmas on a VLE.
Happy real Xmas.
